The man accused of killing a Minnesota lawmaker and her husband is due in court this afternoon. Fifty-seven-year-old Vance Boelter was captured yesterday after a massive manhunt. He’s charged with two counts of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder. Boelter allegedly killed state lawmaker Melissa Hortman and her husband and shot and injured Democratic Senator John Hoffman and his wife. The Justice Department is also considering possible federal charges after investigators announced they’d discovered a possible hit list that had the names of some federal lawmakers.
