Israel massed well over 300-thousand reservists and several armored divisions near the border with Gaza over the past several days. There are growing fears the Iran-backed Hezbollah militants on Israel’s northern border in Lebanon may join Hamas. The Israel-Hamas war began when Hamas militants killed Israeli citizens and soldiers, and took at least 150 hostages, including some Americans, on October 7th.
