Push To Stop Changing Clocks
(Washington, DC) — Later this month, we’ll spring forward and change to Daylight Saving Time. There is a push in the Senate to make that permanent. Senator John Cornyn of Texas says the country has changed so much, so we deserve a debate over whether to stop changing our clocks twice a year. The current plan would keep the country on Daylight Saving Time all year long. Backers say it would reduce car crashes and cut down on cardiac issues associated with the time change. Senator John Cornyn of Texas adds the nation doesn’t need the extra daylight to bring in the crops.
