(Washington, DC) — An overwhelming majority of Americans are “very or somewhat concerned” about a recession. Eighty-seven-percent of those polled by Morning Consult for the Bipartisan Policy Center expressed that level of concern for the economy. Ten-percent of Americans said they weren’t too concerned or not at all concerned. Meanwhile, three-percent said they either didn’t know or had no opinion. The poll comes at the end of a week which saw the annual inflation rate decrease and the Federal Reserve implement another interest rate hike.
