(Hollywood, CA) — Two women are speaking out after allegedly being denied entry into a Hollywood nightclub due to their size. Ella Halikas and Alexa Jay took to social media to share their story. They explained that they felt discriminated against when they were denied entry into The Highlight Room while their thinner friends were let in. Halikas told KTLA thousands of plus-sized women have shared similar experiences with her since the post went viral. The Tao Group, who operates the club, said they don’t tolerate discrimination and the bouncer was working for a “third-party promotion company.”
