(Los Angeles, CA) — Hundreds of TV showrunners and creators are demanding that studios provide safety protocols in states where abortion is outlawed. Variety says over 400 TV talents have signed a letter to top executives at Netflix, Warner Brothers, Disney, and other major studios demanding protocols that would protect pregnant employees in anti-abortion states. The letter is signed by some of TV’s top talents including Shonda Rhimes, Issa Rae and Natasha Lyonne. The letter states, in part, that “it is unacceptable to ask any person to choose between their human rights and their employment.”
