Los Angeles County Ends Indoor Mask Mandate
(Los Angeles, CA) — Indoor face-mask use is no longer mandatory in Los Angeles County. Officials say the health order that took effect yesterday follows positive trends in the number of new, virus-related hospital admissions and an increase in the number of local hospital beds. The move reportedly puts the county in line with a state mandate that dropped mandatory face-mask use on Tuesday. How LAUSD will behave is a bit more murky as published reports say the teachers are fighting to keep kids masked, ignoring the science that it is safe to unmask.
