(Los Angeles, CA) — A Los Angeles County supervisor believes something has to be done to combat the rapid rise in COVID-19 cases in her region. Hilda Solis old ABC’s “This Week” the spike in coronavirus case is the main reason the county reinstated a mask mandate. Solis also says it’s not what she wanted to do, but, without citing specific data evidence, says in the end it will save lives. Solis stressed that the best protection against COVID-19 and the more transmissible Delta variant is to get vaccinated.
