(Miami, FL) — Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is looking to put an end to “Big Tech Censorship.” The Republican signed a bill Monday that stops social media companies from removing people from their sites without an explanation for the action. The new law allows the state to fine the companies a-quarter-of-a-million-dollars a day if they remove an account of a state-wide political candidate. A fine of 25-thousand-dollars a day would be applied if they remove someone running for local office. The law goes into effect July 1st.
