C-SPAN Suspends Political Editor For Lying About Twitter Hack
(Washington, DC) — C-SPAN is suspending political editor Steve Scully after he admitted lying about his Twitter account being hacked. Scully was scheduled to host the second presidential debate, which was supposed to take place tonight. He had sent a tweet to former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci asking if he should respond to President Trump. When challenged on it, he claimed someone had hacked his account. Scully asked for forgiveness for his errors in judgment in a statement released by C-SPAN. This is not the first time Scully has claimed his account was hacked,
