Many California Voters Undecided On Prop 22
(Berkeley, CA) — Less than six weeks before election day, it appears many Californians are not sure how they are going to vote on Proposition 22. A new poll of 59-hundred likely voters found that 25-percent remain undecided on Prop 22, which would allow rideshare drivers and other gig-workers to remain independent contractors. Among other respondents to the survey by UC Berkeley’s Institute of Governmental Studies, 39-percent plan to vote yes while 36-percent said they would vote no. Companies like Uber and Lyft have spent millions of dollars to try and get the measure passed.
