Dean Logan, Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder, who oversees elections (reportedly earning over $400,000) has a controversial past- not just with troubling voting issues, long lines and uncounted ballots in LA, but dating back to his days in Washington state. Even before the current (mostly made up) Post Office brouhaha, Logan’s performance has been widely and reasonably questioned- including in a released-with-little-fanfare report to the County Board of Supervisors (See link to Politico’s story below).
