Authorities Say Naya Rivera Saved Son Before Disappearing
(Piru, CA) — Authorities in California say “Glee” star Naya Rivera saved her son before disappearing and dying in Lake Piru. Ventura County Sheriff Bill Ayub says Rivera’s four-year-old son told investigators his mother boosted him back onto their rented boat just before slipping underwater. The sheriff says Rivera probably had enough energy left to save her son’s life but not her own. He also says Rivera wasn’t wearing a life vest when she and the boy went swimming last week. Her body was found floating in the lake yesterday, near where she was last seen.
