Famed Attorney Alan Dershowitz is reacting to the controversy swirling around President Donald Trump’s firing of FBI Chief James Comey, by telling his fellow Democrats to “grow up”!
Dershowitz said, “Well let me start at the most extreme charges that some radical Democrat crazies are making… namely that the President is engaged in some obstruction of justice by firing Comey. That’s ridiculous. The President of the United States has the right to fire the FBI Director… so let’s take that off the table. The President did not commit obstruction of justice. He (Comey) should not have been director of the FBI. He really did lose his credibility in view of how he handled the Hillary Clinton matter.”
Dershowitz went on to give advice to Democrats on how to react to the Trump Presidency by saying “Grow up! Stop being so extreme. Don’t be so predictable. Talk sense, not nonsense. It’s appalling. As a liberal democrat, I am so disappointed in the leadership of the Democratic Party. They just jump on everything. There’s no nuance, there’s no calibration, everything’s the worst of the best. We’re looking for mature leadership (and) we’re not getting it – from either party.”
Dershowitz was a guest on The Drive Home with Jillian Barberie and John Phillips on TalkRadio 790 KABC.
