The Planning Commission voted to keep proposals for bike lanes in Westwood and South Los Angeles intact. But President David Ambroz says they also also included language aimed at making sure alternative routes will be seriously considered:
“What we were looking to do with the policy at the Planning Commissio was preserve both of those streets for future consideration, to really keep them in the running to be considered at a future time.”
