Sunday was a hard day for Carolin’a super-talented, brash young quarterback, getting shut down by a ferocious Denver defense. NBC-4 sportscaster Fred Roggin says he thought Cam Newton’s sullen attitude in front of reporters after the game was self-defeating
If you’re going to be the face of the franchise and one of the faces of the league you gotta be better than that. You can’t dab, dance and smile when things are going well and do pirouettes on the sidelines, and now you go off completely baffled and confused and basically you guys look like kids against the big boys.
Roggin says its up the the Carolina Panthers now to decide if they can accept Sunday’s devastating loss, learn from their mistakes and grow. They lost to the Denver Broncos 24-10. Denver linebacker Von Miller is the Super Bowl 50 MVP. Roggin was a guest on 790 KABC’s McIntyre in the Morning Show with Doug McIntyre and Terrie Rae Elmer.
