PASADENA (CNS) – Spectators may not bring drones to Friday’s 127th Rose
Parade, while umbrellas and selfie sticks are not allowed within the secured
grandstand area at “TV Corner,” the intersection of Orange Grove and Colorado
boulevards.
The following items are not permitted into the Rose Bowl Stadium:
— animals;
— bags violating the bag policy;
— balls, toys or sports equipment;
— banners, signs, flags, poles or sticks;
— beverage containers larger than 17 ounces (factory-sealed plastic
bottles of water, 17 ounces are allowed; limit two per person;
— boxes or wrapped packages;
— cans, glass bottles or alcoholic beverages;
— coolers;
— drones;
— glass, metal or hard plastic containers;
— helium balloons;
— laser pointers;
— noisemakers including thunder sticks, musical instruments, whistles,
air horns and boom boxes;
— skates, skateboards, hoverboards, scooters or bicycles;
— umbrellas;
— unauthorized cameras with lenses longer than 3 1/2 inches,
interchangeable or telephoto lenses;
— unauthorized video cameras, monopods, tripods or selfie sticks;
— unsliced fruits or vegetables; and
— weapons or projectiles.
The Rose Bowl Stadium has a clear bag policy for all events, including
the Rose Bowl Game.
Approved bags are:
— 12-inch by six-inch by 12-inch clear plastic bag;
— one-gallon plastic freezer bag;
— clutch with shoulder strap (clutch may not be larger than 4 1/2
inches by 6 1/2 inches);
— clutch with wrist strap (clutch may not be larger than 4 1/2 inches
by 6 1/2 inches); and
— diaper bag, as long as accompanied by a child.
Non-approved bags are:
— backpacks;
— camera case;
— mesh bag;
— purse;
— clear backpack;
— tinted plastic bag;
— oversized tote bag;
— printed-pattern plastic bag;
— fanny pack; and
— binoculars case.
